Say Hello to the Little Friends
Who Will Win Your Heart

Welcome to Natureza Story Books

Natureza Story Books was founded in April 2024 in Porto Alegre, inspired by the natural beauty of Isla de los Lobos. This project was created with the desire to offer something special and meaningful for children.

We combined our passion for animals, languages, and reading to create illustrated stories that both entertain and educate. Our books encourage a love for nature, early language learning, and the joy of reading.

Each story shares important values like respect, cooperation, and resilience. Our characters are lovable animals, designed to teach through play. We hope our stories accompany your little ones in moments of joy, discovery, and learning.

TOMY The Sea Lion

The sea lion is a very charismatic marine mammal, known for its agility in the water and its friendliness on land. Thanks to its strong flippers, it can swim quickly and also “walk” out of the water, something that sets it apart from seals.

It lives in large colonies, is very sociable, and communicates with sounds similar to barking. Males can weigh over 300 kilograms.

They feed on fish, squid, and other marine animals, and can dive to great depths to hunt.

They are intelligent, curious, and are often seen interacting with humans or playing with each other. Their natural charm has made them important symbols of marine life.

KODI The Kodiak Bear

The Kodiak bear is one of the largest bears in the world and lives on the Kodiak Islands in Alaska. It can measure over 3 meters and weigh up to 1,000 kilograms, although it leads a quiet life in the wild.

It is a solitary animal, but during salmon season it can be seen fishing alongside others. It eats everything: fish, berries, plants, and more, allowing it to adapt well to its environment.

In winter, it hibernates, and females give birth in their shelters. Although imposing, the Kodiak bear is not aggressive unless it feels threatened. It is a symbol of the strength and beauty of wildlife.

KORA The Koala

The koala is a marsupial native to Australia, famous for its adorable appearance and quiet life in eucalyptus trees. Although many people think it is a bear, it is actually more closely related to the kangaroo.

It spends most of the day asleep, as its diet—based almost entirely on eucalyptus leaves—provides it with little energy. It has strong legs and claws that help it climb, and its thick fur protects it from the weather.

The young are born very small and grow inside their mother's pouch. Although it is a solitary animal, the koala is much loved and protected, as its habitat faces threats such as fires and forest loss.

JAKU The Jaguar

The jaguar is the largest cat in the Americas and one of the strongest animals in the world. It lives in the jungles and forests of Central and South America, where it hides very well among the trees and plants.

It has a muscular body, very strong teeth, and yellow fur with black spots that help it hide. It is a very silent hunter that can swim, climb, and move without making a sound.

Although it is an incredible animal, many jaguars are now endangered because they are losing their habitats. It is important to protect them so that they continue to be part of our jungles.

JACINTO The Hyacinth macaw

The blue macaw, also known as the hyacinth macaw, is a very special bird that lives in Brazil. It is the largest species of parrot in the world and is recognized by its beautiful bright blue color and strong black beak.

It flies elegantly through the jungles and savannas and loves to eat fruits, nuts, and seeds, especially those from palm trees. It usually lives in pairs and is very affectionate with its mate.

Today, the blue macaw is endangered because many people are destroying its habitat. Caring for it and protecting its home is very important so that it can continue to fly freely through the skies of Brazil.
